Jim A. Echols, Executive Director
James A. Echols has served as the Executive Director of ROFW since April of 2020. Possessing a broad professional background in business, government and nonprofit leadership, he is seeking to enhance the quality of life for returning citizens from incarceration.
Echols leads the day to day operations for the organization as well as focuses on expanding the ROFW footprint for enhanced educational, employment & training, along with entrepreneurial opportunities for participants.
Prior to arriving at ROFW, Echols served as Founder and CEO of Renaissance Management and Training Solutions, LLP, a public relations firm based in Kansas City which specializes in diversity, equity and inclusion staff development and training.
Echols professional career includes Director, HOPE Mentoring, Kansas Department for Children and Families; Member, Kansas Sentencing Commission; Chairman, Kansas Advisory Group for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention; Administrator, Human Resource Development, Oklahoma City Public Schools; Executive Director, Oklahoma Human Rights Commission and State Affirmative Action Officer, Office of the Governor (OK).
Echols resides in Kansas City, Kansas, with his wife, Muriel.
