Our ROFW are the heart of our organization and the work we do to give individuals a second chance. Our research has shown that group members who attend more than 60 of our ROFW prisoner rehabilitation weekly meetings (while incarcerated) are very likely to become successful citizens when they are released. 

 

In fact, their recidivism rate, return to prison rate, is only 8%. Many of our ROFW alumni give back by volunteering as group sponsors and mentors, in their local communities and by helping showcase ROFW’s mission before local business community companies and leaders. 

 

We are an important part of the prison reentry program after the release of our group members. We have active Reaching Out From Within Alumni Groups in Kansas City, Kansas and Wichita, Kansas. Details below.
